1904-08 South West Africa Campaign Medal for
combatants. The combatants medal was awarded in bronze
but this privately purchased medal has a gilt finish.

Austro-Hungarian Red Cross
Decoration, second class (this is a pre-1914 award)
The original owner of this medal bar
was an other ranks combat veteran of the Herero Rebellion
and the First World War, yet also served the Austro-Hungarian Red Cross
sometime before the First World War.
